Brian Parkin is a British-born American photographer currently living in Moab, Utah. After graduating BSc Chemistry from the University of Reading he taught high school in England and Belgium, edited books for Oxford University Press, and moved to San Francisco in 1991 where he graduated MFA from the Academy of Art University in 1996. In addition to making his own images he assisted photographers in studios and on location. He moved to Moab, Utah in 2001 and became a US citizen in 2007. He now offers professional image services to local and visiting clients and deals in fine art photography sales. As a photographer Brian is interested in evidence of people within landscapes. He has recently published two catalogs of work: "Barriers To Entry" and "Recent Developments". Brian uses a mixture of traditional analog and digital techniques for image capture and fine art print production.
